On my way home........
drivin home tonight and i look to my side on double lane road and there is a nice new S15 Spec R in revolting yellow, so i think why not ill prolly lose.
he booted it first then me and both cars (auto) dropped back into first i think, we were both even, but when zed changed into 2ndmy car launched about half a length infront, and from then it was seeya later, i pulled away quite nicely. the end Now i can sleep easy  Chickenbum

The 300zx autos go just as hard as the manuals due to the torque convertor and the fact that you dont lose boost between gear changes
Beaten plenty of manuals too

how many people have you raced that have known how to drive a manually well? cause unless your talking out of the whole your auto generally wont beat a manual

AUtos...for DR's
The only people I have seen drive auto sports cars are Dr.'s and when you beat them they go home and get their Ferrerris (with Auto) and do a number on you. Then you go home and get your big iron and rebutt the Ferreri.
Then they buy your big iron and you're done. They WILL have the most toys. Anyway, who lifts to change gears? I hear that misnomer from a lot of people not coordinated enough to drive a manual, especially GNX owners. They want to run you, then from a rolling start, then for top end. It is like they are going to find a way they can win. NEVER!!!

I have an auto w/ the HKS ALC. It will shift faster than any manual!

Funny! I'm not an asshole, maybe you were joking with the DR. joke, I just found it a bit rude. Have you driven an auto. Z w/ the HKS ALC? Have I driven a 5 spd. Z yes. Is my car quicker through the gears? yes. Don't be so quick to judge. The fastest unibody Z in the US is an Auto., check out SGP's website, or the Killer Z's isse of turbo magazine. Then tell me what the prefered tranny is. Late!

I do not know what this is, but I do have an I.V., etc., DSL w/HTTP & .....
Do you need HKS/aol because you are not coornatied enough to drive an auto? I don't want you doing surgery on me if that's the case. Talk about rude, what's that line under your Z picture?

It's off Tenacious D's album (track 14) I think?! funny shit!
The hks ALC is an (Automatic Line Controler) Wich to sum it up...It maintains line pressure in the Tranny so when you go WOT it will have a racing shift. It shifts regularly throughout normal driving, and when you accelerate hard, the computer initializes the ALC. For perfect racing shifts, without making your leg sore, or wearing out a clutch!
