Talking Fun on the way home yesterday!

I had great fun on the way home yesterday playing with a WRX. The prick wanted to be in the lane I was in but refused to actually get behind me (as I find a lot of guys seem to have a problem doing ). He eventually had to get behind me because he wanted to turn left at the roundabout.

We came to another set of lights and he got in the right hand lane and I got in the left. I just knew that he really wanted to be in the left hand lane but again he refused to get in the proper lane. So lights go green, we both put our foots down, go flying around the corner (at this stage we were side by side), then the road straightened out a bit more so I put my foot down more and said bye bye to Mr WRX. He was totally mortified. He backed right off (and yes I was correct in my assumption that he in fact did want to be in the left lane ). I think he was trying to impress his girlfriend or something. Needless to say he got in the correct lane at the next intersection. :hehehe:

Haha I think he really underestimated both the driver and the car. That sort of stuff seems to happen to me all the time. I think a lot of guys either think that it's a guy driving or that it's a girl driving her boyfriends car. I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing the expressions when they see they got beat by a girl. :hehehe:

The WRX has a 0-60 of 5.4 and you still were able to pull on him? Your car is very fast!

The WRX as a 0-100km of 5.7 seconds. They weigh about the same, they have roughly the same amount of HP stock (the WRX has slightly less). The Skyline has a 0-100km of 6.21 seconds as opposed to 5.7 for the WRX. The advantage that the WRX has is AWD. It was a pretty fair match really.

I believe she lives in New Zealand, so that would make it right hand drive. Was it an ST-i or just a "regular" WRX?

Yep right hand drive over here in New Zealand. And it was a standard WRX not an STI.
