torque spec
whats teh torque spec on the camshaft holddown/cap bolts on a d15? its teh same bolt that holds the valvecover down.

pretty sure its something like 15 or 20 pounds...you have to criss-cross while your tightening, starting in the center and working your way to the ends...I don't even torque them, i just hand tighten, but not too tight...its hard to resist realy tightenig those suckers but the less tight the better

well i am only replacing one. the previous owner of the hatch snapped off the bolt when he over tightened the valve cover nutcap.
but its cool, he fixed it by squirting some glue where the nutcap once was on a side note....anyone got some seat rails for sale? its kind of missing the passenger side seat. and aparently i need that rail to mount racing seatbrackets.

Yeah I believe it's right around 15-20 but don't over torque them or you'll destroy your cam.
