cl-s vs maxima

you all are complianing that the cl-s is faster ,but try taking the 02 max against the CL-S . IT should be close. Because the power ratings are the same.

Who all's complaining? It was just a discussion... And the CL-S is not faster than the Max! :flash:

well, on many magazines, CL Type-S come out winner in 0-60 and 1/4 mile time runs....very marginal win, but still, it was faster than Maximas..

but that doesn't matter anyway...i don't need a 2002 maxima to beat a CL-Type S...
i'm not even scared of the 2002s either!!!

My buddy just bought a cl type s w/ navigation on friday. He drove the 01 and 02 Maximas and says the Acura is a lot faster. I think the auto stick helps and provides a big boost over the automatic Maximas.

I'd say you have the Horsepower advantage probably around 300+ with mine being around 270+, but I probably still have more Torque.... It'd sure be an interesting race, I know I wouldn't bet on it... Ive been trying to get a guy from Canada with a boosted auto to come and race me, but so far he won't do it, I think he's scared...

BTW Kev... You know automagics rule!

Exactly. Your power kicks in right away, while mine has to build up. We've seen what happened when Loren and Thomas raced (SC vs. nitrous). Too bad you moved all the way up.

If Cheston puts together a West Coast Maxus next year, I'll be there! The scene up here is pretty dead, but I like the area, I really wanna race an s/c though... BTW, I checked out your cardomain site, sweet ride kev...

Hopefully Maxus will be held in Las Vegas, but we'll see what Jambo decides on. Thanks for the compliment.
