Nice car, too bad it has to go. I recall you being interested in a TT 3/S.

Sad to see her go...

What's your plan for the next car, in the future?
Any ideas so far?

Re: Z goes away.

It was probably good for a low 13 run. It was pretty much tapped out power wise on the stock turbo.

It was pretty much as fast as my old SR20DET'd 240z, just he put in steeper gears which made it pretty quick outta the hole. But, in my opinion they were too steep and caused traction issues... which doesn't help. haha.

Both motors were 2 liters in displacement, and running the same amount in boost they were probably making upwards of 300hp at the crank. His being a 6 cylinder, it probably was making a tad more torque than the 4 banger I had.

Wow... I guess you're really not up to date.

But, his car is OF THE Z line.

It's a Datsun 240z. The original Z.

The one that started it all...

What did you think it was?

Re: Z goes away.

I thought about a 300ZX, and I do LOVE the VR4s.

Also thought about a 951, or a 944 with a swap but that just seems like too much troubble right now.

My girl says I should get back to muscle cars, that they fit me better and I have been putting thought into it. All this would need to be in the distant future though...*sigh*

Untill then this just might be my next project...

Re: Z goes away.

Actually a 951 has been greatly thought about. I like them greatly.
