I am replacing the cork rocker cover gaskets on my 1977 6.6l F250 with Fel-Pro rubber gaskets and was wondering if I need to use silicone sealant/adhesive on the rubber gaskets.

Re: Rubber Gaskets and silicone
You may need it to help hold a gasket in place during assembly. But not to help it seal.

Re: Rubber Gaskets and silicone
I don't like using anything on rubber gaskets. They seal great dry and are reusable that way.
If you need something to hold them in place, use a little grease.
