Question Which Tamiya Skyline kit

Im fairly new to all this and would like to build a Skyline. I see Tamiya make quite few, both road cars and race cars, R33's and R34's. Does anyone have any comments on these kits? Are they just modifications of the same basic kit?

Thanks in advance
Josh

Welcome!!

They're all great kits.
The R34 race cars are almost the same.
The R33 race cars have different body.

Get the one with fewer decal if you're new to modeling, like Calsonic GTR.

Depends on what you want.
Go with the R32 If you want a engine, but my favorite would have to be the R34.
Also do one of the Tamiya race cars

lots of detail painting on this one. I have noticed a small error in the instructions. Very unusual for Tamiya. Parts C9 and C7 (Fuel hoses I think) in step 10 do not have a colour specified for the bulk of the part. Black and red details are shown but not the main colour of the parts. Im guessing it should be x-11:2 + x-12:1 as this is what a lot of the other engine components are painted.
