Mtx

I'm new to this and just wanted to know if MTX makes good speakers and subs. Their site is good. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, they're a respectively good company. They have really good amps, from my personal experience. And a lot of people seem to like their subs, I've never used them though.

Forget MTX, go Adire Audio for Subs.

adire is one of the "johhny-come-latelys" ..... the stuff seems to compare well with other manufacturers gear though.

Thanks guys, I will probably go with the Mtx's to replace my stock speakers and see how they sound. Then I might put a sub in later.

Hey, get an MTX AMP, they are really good, but you would be better off going with Rockford Fosgate Power series, they are a lil better... Also, if you are gonna buy MTX subs, make sure whoever u buy from is an authorized dealer and that you save the recipt because many MTX subs have blown, Mine did, and i wasnt pushing them hard, and a lot of my friends also had this problem... But a good sub if you wanna get, get the Polk MOMO subs, thats what i currently have, i have 2 PolkMOMO 12" subs and a Rockford Fosgate Power 1000.1bd Amp....

If MTX subs are blowing easy, then they must be overrated on their power handling.

correct-a-mundo! i'd get Alpine TypeR subs before i get MTX subs.... the Alpines are pretty good, but i still think you should get PolkMOMO or Rockford Fosgats, if you go with FOsgate, get the HX2 subs
