MTX 12 inch Sub’s – 5000 Series

Hi all,

I’m selling a pair of MTX T5128 sub’s.

These sub’s are 12 inch diameter and 8ohm each.

At the moment they are in a ported box tuned to 30 hz, and are wired in parallel to give a 4 ohm load (perfect to run into a two channel bridged amp).

The subs are absolutely like new, no marks or scratches. They were in my old car for 3 months before I sold it, now the box won’t fit into my new car (and I’m getting away from the ‘doosh doosh’ scene), and have been sitting in my spare room for the last 6 months.

The subs were run from a MTX 280 amp, and have only seen clean power. In the configuration they are in at the moment they will handle 500 watts rms, but never saw more than 280 watts rms.

I’ve got the spec sheets for them, so you can easily build your own box, or use the one they are in.

Basically, buy the two sub’s and I’ll throw in the box for free (I have no use for it).

The sub’s cost me $285 each on special, and the box was about $120 to build, so I’d like to get $420ono for the pair (and the free box).

I’m happy to post the sub’s COD around Australia (I’m in Canberra and buyer pays postage), but forget about posting the box.
