Cruise Control On/Off Switch Help

Can someone tell me the proceedure in replacing these switches on the side of the steering wheel. 1997 Explorer 4x4. where do you access the bolts.

You need to remove the drivers side airbag from the steering wheel. Disconnect the battery and go have a cup of coffee. Come back and remove the 4 bolts on the back of the steering wheel to remove the air bag. Be careful not to damage the connector or the "clockspring" that it connects to. You will see the little bolts that hold the switch in place. Good luck. And safety first around the air bag.
