Honk when locking?
I have a 2000 alero and i would like it to honk when it locks. I think i can program that myself, but i dont have the owners manual to do so. Does anyone know how to do that?

These instructions are for a 2002 Alero but 2000 should be similar so give it a try. Good luck.
To enable horn chirp: 1) Press and hold either of the door lock switches in the unlock position for 10 seconds with ignition ON and all doors closed. 2) When horn chirp is heard programming is complete. 3) To deactivate horn chirp repeat above procedure.
