My g's boo-boo

Okay, My 1993 G20, 5spd has a bit of a problem... The automatic seat belt on the driver's side has a bad motor or some other related problem. The info I found on the web says that I have to buy a whole new mechanism, but I'm hoping not. Should I have to find the entire piece, where could I find a used one? Any ideas?
