I just had to replace my MAF too and it cost me $377 for a new one installed, u can get a new one off EBAY for like $100 and it has a 1yr replacement warranty. Dont buy a used one, its just gonna end up not workin later on like the one ur tryin to replace now.

Re: Need MAF for 1997 GTP !

I just bought a new Cardone MAF from Autozone for $137.00. I was not going to buy a reman MAF sensor or especially a used one. For me, due to driving the Flaming Tomato 245 miles a day back and forth to work every day, a used sensor would be like playing Russian roulette with the car wondering when its gonna crap out.
A couple of sites to check out:

Re: Need MAF for 1997 GTP !

ZZP probably has one of the best deals going on new GM MAF sensors, however, for '99 and up Grand Prixs only. You cannot use one from a '99 and up on a '97 or '98 model SII 3800. Different calibration.

Have you checked with a salvage yard? Going rate for a used pull is around $40-$60.
