STi vs Eclipse GST

Last night i was out cruising with some friends, one of them had just upgraded from an automatic LS1 Camaro to a 6 Speed WS6 so we were out being stupid. All night this Eclipse had kept flying by the other way making sure we heard his BOV as he went past, finally i was able to make a turn and catch up to him, i finally lined up with him about three blocks away from where i saw him. I turned the DCCD on manual and put the knob all the way to the rear for a better launch. The light turned green and i slipped the clutch out around 5K and immediately pulled probably about 3-4 cars on him and he never caught or had a chance.

About 2 blocks later he pulled up next to me and gunned it at about 35 mph, i gave him a bit of a head start, i went from second to third and once i hit third i pulled on him pretty hard, shut it down around 85 and never saw him again because he turned off.

The Eclipse looked like a 98 and i'm pretty sure it was a GST but it looked and sounded good, i still have a soft spot for those cars. Not a bad night, not my best kill but i was pretty happy to get a nice car like that on a weekday.

Go Joshy!

You're my hero!... next to the dude down the street that patched a flat tire I had and rotated my tires for free. Now that dude rocks, but you come in a solid second place behind him. Definately.

Re: STi vs Eclipse GST

Nice kill. You should post your races more often. Well done one the Vr4 especially. From what I have read STi's give a VR4 a damn good race until it gets into higher speeds where the scooby drops off some due to the smaller turbo and aerodynamics. Well done.

No love...

It's that kind of attitude that keeps me away Mr. Man!
