I had the same problem with my van,living in the rust belt where a lot of salt is used in the winter accelerates this problem. I am starting to see a lot of these van starting to do this. The Chevy dealer carries a repair panel to do the job. I personally tend to stay away from aftermarket repair panels due to past experience of not only myself, but of others I have seen.
