2001 Venture Light Problems

I hope someone can help. The driver side blinker, tail light and stop lights have been acting crazy lately. The brake lights work fine until you turn the blinker on to turn left. As soon as you turn the blinker on all the lights on the left side start flashing in sequence. I have already replaced the 4 bulbs(twice) and checked the fuses. Has anyone else had this problem or know anything about it.

Re: 2001 Venture Light Problems

There is a known problem with the rear lights on the GM minivans. Water infiltrates the housing and causes problems with the lights. Try taking the bulbs out and cleaning the contact surfaces, apply a little dielectric grease to the connections to make them water tight. If that does not do the trick then you might have to replace the "boards" that house the bulbs. Here is a link to an auction on eBay where these are sold all the time. This will give you an idea of what they look like also:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...QQcmdZViewItem
