1989 chevy beretta code 43

I have 1989 beretta with check engine light on , reads code 43.I have changed knock sensor, and ignition module, but light is still on .I need help!

I believe your '89 still used the separate ESC module. Verify all connections, especially the ground for the new sensor. You can also install a 3.9K ohm resistor in place of the sensor to determine if there is actually noise being detected by the sensor.

After clearing the codes, determine how long the engine will run before the code sets again.
