Speed restrictor?

I was just wondering if u all know if there is a speed restirictor on a 97 integ LS?

i had a 95 ls.. and i could swing it up to 140 no prob.. i ran out of rpms.. lol.. but the 97 has a diff ecu.. it might be.. but i doubt it..

aight thanks, its for my sis's car ive only been 110 in it but that still pretty fast.
