I have been thinking about Turbocharging my 1992 sentra se-r. I have been told by others it's not worth it and a waste of money. I'm not sure. Would I be better off doing a motor swap or getting a turbo kit?
Where can you buy Turbo kits for a 92 sentra se-r? Thanks!

you might as well get the motor swap....
sr20det are more reliable with turbos and can obtain more HP potential than the U.S. sr20de still the sr20de can take a lot of power i only wish that the qr25de engine can withstand that much power

you've got a gold mine under your hood right now man. The sr20 is a very strong motor, the japan det is a little stronger, with beefier rods and some other stuff (dont know enough to list all), but the stock us sr20de can handle ~300-350whp with no problems. There are many people who have turbo'd their early 90's se-r's, check out www.sr20deforum.com and I'm sure they will have a lot more useful info than me
