Moter confusion, IDK what kind of moter i got in my jeep?

My cuz has a 71 cj5 jeep that says it has a buick 225 v6 in it but when we went to get new spark plugs, wires and distributer cap none of them were even close exept the plugs, i cant find the vin nubers on the block but i got the seral off the intake(1378704-E), and it obvious that some dumbas has done a moter swap b/c the moter mounts are welded to the frame.please help!

Some buicks used a chev engine.!!!
See if you can find a older mechanic to look at it.
Most of the old timers can tell by looking.

Is the distributor at the front or rear of the engine?
