How do I put the torque converter in the trans on 2000 CRV?

On other cars, the converter just slips right into the transmission but this rig has "floating" pieces that have to line up just right. What's the trick?

Line it up just right.

Ok, seriously, how about you put the TC on a block of wood, fill it, then lower the trans vertically down on to it. If the TC is still level all of the "floating pieces" should be lined up.
