Question Looking for something to prevent fading

I'm looking for something to apply to some yard equipment I own that prevents the sun's rays from fading the paint. I've looked at different waxes and such at my local stores and none of them say that they can prevent fading or block out UV rays. I bought a new tractor back in 1998 and the orange paint on the vertical surfaces has faded quite a bit. I just purchased a brush hog in 2005 and would like to apply something to it to protect the paint, especially from fading. I've also started the habit of covering the equipment when not in use, hoping that helps slow the rate of fading, but I'd like to use something to protect the paint and keep it looking newer, longer. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: Looking for something to prevent fading

I think you'd be fine just to use a good cleaner wax like you'd use on your vehicle. Maintain by using a spray wax.
