Re: 60 years of Ferrari... F355 Spider

The paint looks nice and clean. I'm not a fan of those panel lines and the window trim looks too glossy. Keep up the good work.

Re: 60 years of Ferrari... F355 Spider

Comments: Nice paint, good stance and a beautiful car!
Criticism: The panel lines are too heavy!! I personally don't do anything to my panel lines, but for those who do, try darkening the body paint (i.e., mix that yellow with some black to make "dark yellow") and then paint them in. Also try to get them narrower so they don't look like big gaps.
Also--the line down the middle of the side is not actually a panel line, just a stylized crease (to match the air dam panel lines); so it shouldn't have panel line paint at all.

I don't know about the window trim being glossy (it should be flat or semi-gloss black), but it looks a little rough-edged. If you use some Tamiya masking tape or Bare-metal foil, you can get a nice crisp edge.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh; I'm just offering advice to help you in your next build. Overall, it looks like a good project! I love the looks of the F355.

Alex

Looks like you did a great job.
A few pointers for next time......
I think you would find the pictures coming out better if the light was coming from the behind the lens of the camera (your backside left or right) Also try taking the pictures a little farther away from the subject.

Nice work on a true beauty! Thanks for your contributions to the groupbuild. And I really respect what Alex said, that's very serious comments, personally I've learnt much from that, thanks!

The car looks excellent now! Good job fixing the small details; it's very honoring when someone takes advice as well as you. Thank you, and good luck in your current/future projects!

P.S. Your new photographs look very good; I like the neutral background.

great 355, came out very clean. The few pointers you got, sum it up.

Its funny, criticizm is hard to take, but if you think about it, it was said to you because you have skill and it wouldn't be falling on deaf ears. Its so much better then them not saying anything at all.
