Question Worse than a motor swap?

Anyone want to take a guess at whats worse than swapping motors? Trying to do a rear disc swap, with rusty ass bolts.

I have had to grind off three so far, and I'm only on the driver side!

So, I will probably need new rear lower control arms too...

Thumbs down

LOL - sorry about the bad luck dude...but this has been a good laugh on a nice and dreary Monday morning.
Just think how nice it will be when you are done tho since the rear brakes do a whole 20% of your stopping -
It will look neat!!

DOHC ZC, I,H,E, urethane bushings and mount inserts, rock chipped hood, some rust, stock steelies, nice comfy Integra seats, and the A/C works! What else could you want from an 18 year old car with 241,000 miles? Working on getting the Si tranny in now

Hey its not just the 4th gens, i broke off both bolts thru the LCA's on my 5th gen when i had to replace the rr. struts on my wifes civic. We also broke the same bolts on a 2000 Si when we did lowering springs at my dealership. Those bolts just suck to do. Now would be a good time to do a poly- bushing kit since you have it all torn apart... good luck

Yeah, I have my eye on a urethane bushing set. I would also like to grab the lca from the drop shop. But I cant see spending $200 on them. Not now at least.

I saw brand new rear lca bushings being sold on HT for $135. He said he bought it from jdmhondaparts and didnt install. Probably broke a few bolts trying to do so, lol...Dont know about you guys but I had a hard time taking out the pin that holds the shift linkage when I did my swap...
