1989 Honda CRX Si, the usual intake header exhaust right now, but I just ordered a new engine (b18a1) and a custom turbo (should get around 10psi). This setup should be good for around mid 13's in the 1/4mile.

Well, on this board, you're going to get 3 kinds of responses... guys telling you get an import, guys telling you to get a domestic, and guys telling you to get a honda

The important thing to do is figure out how much you want to spend at once, and how much you can spend later. Also, figure out what sort of car you are looking for. If you're after a 1/4 mile dragger, your best bet is a lightweight chassis(there are many out there) with a domestic V8 and auto tranny.

If you want a pure sports car, there are many great choices out there, and it comes down to personal preference.

If you want a car that handles like a sports car, but goes like a drag racer, your best bet is to pick up a good sports car, and swap in a new engine.

How much do you want to spend?

1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS25t. Only mods so far are 3" catless exhaust and Trust Airinx pod filter. I've only had her since March this year.

Heheh, 86 Aerostar, 2.8 liter V6, 3300lbs... relocated the battery to the jack location(left rear wheel tub)... Removed 3rd row seat, moved 2nd row to 3rd row location, resulting in what I like to call, the Pimp-O-Star

Future mods call for an engine swap with a performance built 4.0 liter V6 with 5 speed auto tranny... I'm looking for around 270hp...

I don't have the 931 yet, so no racing

Oh yeah, forgot the Aerostars mission statement...

It's my shop van until I build a lowrider flareside/stepside! My goal is, a 14 second Aerostar, just to go humiliate kids in the newest rice rockets

I just want to see the look on their faces when their little RSX or SiR get's burned by a minivan!

93 t-bird, runs...well...who knows..

anywhere from high 14 to mid 15....I beat low 15 sec cars, and on the freeway I'm king with 3.08's but on the quarter I -could- be better.

So yah, stuff....

WHAT YOU WISH TO DO WITH CAR?

I race my S2000. It's stock at the moment.

I have put a best time of 13.795 down so far in the 1/4... but I'm going to the track this Friday and plan on hopefully breaking that personal record. (i have a matchup with a 99 GT at the track this saturday)
