ya know it's been a long assed time since I wrote here so I thought I'd come back to see what was crackin' and you know the first thing I saw was the fast and the furious 2 spy photos thing just for shits and giggles I went to see what all of the fuss was about, needless to say I left pissed (so now I'm here) I really cant understand for the life of me why the fuck people care about this movie (yes just like everyone else I did go and see the first one) but I mean doesn't anyone get tired of seeing these stupid buzz bomb cars!!! now before you say that the vipers and the s2000 and a few other aren't I'll say your right they are very nice and respectable cars what is not respecrablr is another movie thats going to make everyone think they own a race car so they'll go out and make more of these stickered out shit cans with no real performance and think they are all cool. what we need is a movie that shows people that racing is OK (on the track, street racing is very dangerous and very stupid) so we aren't seen by cops and the public as hoodlums like the first movie clamed and second we need a movie that gives people an education (not like a Biology film , but) something that shows that stickers, wings, and ground effects and 6000 gallons of House of Kolor paint doesn't make a race car. lots of money, determination, and blood sweat, and tears make a real race car I know as well as anyone else thought that Hollywood could give two shits if little jimmy knows the difference between a real race car and just some stickers and paint. Iknow it's not like I'll change everyone but please when you go and see it just remeber its Hollywood and a 150 hp car does look fast with special effects but it's not in real life. also if any of the people you know got all of thier car knowledge from this movie or the first one please set them straight, cause we really don't need anymore undereducated "race car drivers" out there. yeah most of the car club I'm in feel exactly the same way.

Me, I know the cars aren't realistic or "real" race cars, but I think some of them look pretty good and I'm keen to see the movie.

I didn't see the first movie - I wont see the second, but I dont waste any energy getting mad at the people who do. Its their time and money so they can spend it on as much useless stuff as they want.

I personally also don't see what the big deal is. I saw the first one and I will see the second one but purely for the reason that it's a movie. At least they've got some better cars in this one (even if they have totally riced them out.

yea, see what HogieGT-R said last is what I mean. I don't care if you see the movie or not I probabliy will go just to see what it's got going for it, my main statement is if you go there to get knowlege about cars your heading in the wrong place that's like going to wal mart's auto section and asking for a steering shaft bearing for a '73 Skylark, or going to McDonalds and asking for a fillet mignon cooked medium-rare it just doesn't happen. I like movies as much as anyone but to go there and see a movie and take it as reality is not only stupid but you look like a jack ass when you try and state it as fact to people who know better. what I'm saying is go there and enjoy the show just don't become one of them (the brain-less "race car drivers" that only know "Nauuuuwwws makes you fast!") but don't know what it is or why it does it and would shit in thier pants if they ever went for a ride in a real race car.

The first car in the movie did 130 MPH. Hell my Cougar is worth less then $1000 and will do 120MPH. MY little escort will do 110MPH and it's not half bad. So why throw all that money into a car.

Since that movie came out, I have seen a lot of wicked cars driving around town. But my best friends stock Grand Prix killed most of them. Most of these kids customzise the outside and inside of the cars, but only have a 100hp 4 banger

Yeah, I'll see it cause' imports are my life, but it is a hollywood movie. None of it should be taken seriously. Their show cars. Pretty but slow show cars(at least in most cases).
I went & saw the first movie & loved it. I now own it on DVD & have seen it like a hundred times. I don't buy a word in it but I love the cars. Yes, even the green Eclipse. But it's not goin' to make me look out the indow at my 140-hp "sports car" & figure it's a rocket.

The thing that chafed me about F&F wasn't the bs about cars (let's face it, all movies are full of BS). The thing that chafed me, was that the cop essentially left his job of stopping murders, robberies, vandalism, etc. (remember they weren't so much after the ricers for racing, as for hijacking trucks by shooting the truckers) and instead he converts over to the infinitely more meaningful world of streetracing/robbery. Yes, my good man, that's what life's all about. Stupid bullshit movie.

I like the movie, it is one hell of a car perv. Its a cool flcik, got speed, got action, hot cars, cute girls etc, and the girls tell me "cute guys too" I ignored all the shit in it and enjoyed it as a flashy no-brainer. ANd hey, its gave rise to people loving me NEON's, lol!
