Toyota Celsior/Lexus LS 430

Just finished this OOB Celsior not too long ago. The paint is TS-45 Pearl White and cleared with Tamiya Clear, the interior is just regular flat black from a can.

All of the window sills are BMF-ed. The headlight housings are blackened, and the tailights are smoked. I also blackwashed the wheels and discbrakes.

Here are the pics.

I hope you all like it, C&Cs are always welcomed. Thank you for looking.

Lol!

Good call Voyageur! I had to move the car around for better poses, and the rear wheel turned out to be like that. LOL!!!

Bare Metal Foil is the way to go. I think most LHS have them. Thank you for the comments.

Love the blacked out lights and the black rims. It really sets off the white paint. keep up the good work man.

Re: Toyota Celsior/Lexus LS 430

I know its BMF. But how do you go about applying it to those tiny strips? Like....do you put the whole body together , paint, then apply bmf? Or are the bumpers off of the car, then do it? Should I use a tooth pick to get the bmf into the crevice, then exacto knife? Thanks!

I applied BMF when the bumpers are off the car. And then I used slightly wet cotton buds to make sure that the BMF stayed in place before cutting it slowly with the non-sharp side of the Exacto knife.

This method is very easy and almost fool-proof. Good luck.
