Need Help!! 99 Lumina LTZ problems.

I have a 99 lumina ltz with the 3.8L v-6 120,000 mi. The problem is if I let it run at idle with the a/c on for approx. 10 min or so untill the engine warms up, it dies all of a sudden. It will not restart correctly, in that the only way to get it half running you must hold down the accelerator and it runs really really rough. But if you let cool it will start and run right, untill it warms up.

The a/c has nothing to do with it because it will die without it being on.

I am geting a fuel pressure gauge from a friend tomorrow.

I cleaned the IAC sensor with no change.

The coils pass the resistance test, even warm.(5800-6300ohms.)

New air filter.

I had the egr off, everything looked ok but I dont know what to look for.

And NO CODES!

What do you guys think? ICM, TPS, etc.....

Any help would be appreicated,
Thanks,
Mike

welcome to AF Mike.

When it dies, have you checked to see if you still have spark at the plugs? Both the ICM and CKPS (CranK Position Sensor) will fail when hot and function when cool.

Bit the bullet and took it in, was the Mass air flow sensor. $277 installed

Tanks to all,

277 for a MAF sensor installed? You got off easy here buddy. Around here the MAF sensors just for the part are quite higher.
