Quick Shots Fujimi Vs Revell 599

Just got the Fujimi F599 from HLJ and thought I'd grab some quick shots. I didn't have time to pull out the tripod and use the good camera. If you think more detailed shots are useful, let me know.

Darker Red is Revell F599. Lighter Red is Fujimi

Re: Quick Shots Fujimi Vs Revell 599

the Fuji looks a bit wider and lower than the Revell. but as for body detail, they look about the same as far as quality.

Re: Quick Shots Fujimi Vs Revell 599

Yesterday I had to go to a dinner event. I barely had the time to do the few quick shots of the 599's.

Auw12 has done a great job in capturing the differences and shortcomings of the two. No reason for me to add anymore to it.

My intentions are to combine the Fujimi and Revell kits and come up with a well detailed rendition. I am not a fan of the Pentastar wheels, or even the BBS challenge type. I'll likely use some 20" aftermarket wheels on the car.

Also, as I live in the USA, I'll be doing the US spec adjustments as well.

I sure hope Crazy Modeler comes out with a PE set for this. I've got the Acu-Stion set on order from HLJ, but must admit my preference is Crazy Modeler if a set is available from him.
