BMW Newbie FAQs?

My wife has a 1990 BMW 325i, and I know next to nothing about it, since we just got married. Is there somewhere I can go to learn more about it (basic maintenance, repair, etc.)? There's lots of resources I've found for my Eclipse, but I'm at a loss for her car. And of course, she keeps bugging me to "work on it like you do your car." I need help!

also you may want to note that the bimmer you are referring to is an E30, this may help you in your search to differntiate (sp?) from other 3ers.

Thanks! I appreciate the info and all. One other quick question-- she says that it has a 1991 engine in it, so is there a way to verify that? Is there a code engraved on the block or something? Is this even worrying about, i.e., are the 90 and 91 engines are identical?

the E30 325i had the same m20b25 engine in it through its years, there should be no differences between 90 and 91.
