Cool Im a newbie

I recently bought a GMC 2002...I've grown to love it..
the only thing i hate is i can't put seat covers of my choice on them like my other cars, because of the seat-beat being connected to my seats, which took me some time to get used to..any solutions??
oh and by the way, i have cloth seats..

Also, what do i look for about this SUV? i currently have a little over 111,000 miles on it. I would also like to transform this car to my liking is there a site that i could go to that's replicable and won't to much break my piggy-bank.?

Thanks...

Re: Im a newbie

If you are looking for a site, envoyforums.com is a good one.

I have a 2002 as well w/114,000 miles. Things to look for, Im assuming you mean problem areas - end links (front and rear), rear end chatter if you have the G80 locker, four wheel drive bugs - most can be solved by pulling the transfer case fuse, power steering failure if you do donuts, other than that the truck is solid. I have had mine since 64,000 miles and I love mine too!
