Nippon Motors
Does anybody have personal experience with Nippon? I'm tired of the local JY's saying they have EX/Si engines and by the time I get there to put holding money on them they are gone, so, I'm reconsidering Nippon but I've heard so many things about them both good and bad I just would like to know opinions from people with personal experience. oh, BTW, if anybody is actually in North Carolina or knows somebody that is that's trying to get rid of a D16A6 I'm looking for one.

I had a buddy order a SR20DE motor from them. Seemed like a good deal, motor was in great shape.
I have also dealt with http://www.kwcengine.com/ as well. Both are great companies.

I ordered my ZC form them. Beside the phone dude ( i couldnt understand him...he was mexican) everything went as good as can be. I ordered it and they said it was back ordered for two weeks....4 days later it was at my door.

My buddy got a motor from them three times, the first had bad rings the second ate a valve, the thrid got swapped a week after he sold the car(two weeks after he installed the third motor). So I dont think I would go with theres at least for a 1.5l

I bought my engine from them.. It was in PERFECT shape, cheap, and was at the door 5 days later.. and they are on the other side of the US..

well, that's been one of my biggest concerns, the fact I'm on the other side of the US from them. I guess now I need to concentrate on finding a Si engine harness so when I get the body ready for a new engine all I'll have to do is order it.

when we called about ZC prices the guy gave a quote. asked "is that sohc or doch" and the reply was "yes, have zc...you have money i ship". we were like thats great but is that price sohc or dohc again "yes, have zc...you have money i ship". it honestly felt like they knew enough english to take money.
they used to be really reliable. but, after that phone call i just got my engine through dropshop
