I've got a '90 DX Hatch with an automatic transmission. Can the typical import repair shop replace my stock engine and tranny with a ZC engine and 5-speed?
Sorry if this topic has been discussed earlier, but I've been really busy at work and away from the 4th gen site. Good news is, all that hard work paid off and I'm getting a raise. I'm considering buying a new Toyota Tacoma, but I love my 4th gen. Point is, I'd really rather spend money making my little car more entertaining than buying a new, boring truck. I'd love opinions and comments on that DX/Auto to ZC/5-speed situation. Thanks

I'm sure there are plenty of shops in texas that perform swaps..it's usually best to go to a performance shop with a good rep.. most repair shops aren't honda guys. If you want to take your car to panama city beach,fl or tallahasee fl you can contact upgrade performance @ 850-671-1596..they do real good work and always have any spare parts you might need.:smoka:
