Still using premium!

Even though the cost is higher I feel better using premium with its added
detergents and knock reducing qualities. I did not notice a dramatic increase in performance using premium over the years but if anything the peace of mind is worth a lot to me.

There is many write ups on www.maxima.org about this issue. If you don't want knocking use premium. There is a reason why our cars call for premium!

Plaese clarify? If you were referring to me in your post my posts focus was on justifying the cost of premium fuel. I never use anything but premium.

bro trust me on dis 1 don't use nuthin less than premium, 1x I let da wifey put gas n da Max, she tried 2 cheap out and used some 87, man my Max felt sick and at first I couldn't realize Y da damn thing wasn't pick'n up & it kept on hesitatin.
Anyway, I looked ova at da wifey & asked her what kinda fuel she put n it & she look scared, so I knew she put N da wrong grade.
I tried put'N some octane booster and all dat, it didn't help much, so I just kept on ridin it til I ran it all out, I got my system flushed after and everything checked out okay, so trust me don't put anything less than 91, I only use 93 or 92>I found one place in Chicago that had 94 so I used that too.
