I must be lame, Evo 8/9 fuel

I must be lame. i remember reading it but i cant' find it anywhere right now. For the record

Evo 8
Evo 9
Evo Fuel pump
Evo 8 Fuel pump
Evo 9 Fuel pump
Injectors

What does the Evo fuel system put out. I would like to upgrade my fuel system, but I don't want teh noisy Walbro setup and i've read somewhere that the Evo pumps work well, as well as injectors. If anyone has the stats laying around somewhere it might help me make some decisions.

Going on a 90 Galant (VR4-ish) 4g63t

IIRC the injectors are only about 530cc (or so) and the pump is pretty weak. If your setup is sub-400whp then go with a 190, it makes VERY little noise, but if it still bothers you, dynamat the whole area. You can make a 255 silent with enough dynamat.

Wouldnt be worth it IMO. Evo injectors are 530 or 560, both numbers pop out at me for some reason.

Re: I must be lame, Evo 8/9 fuel

AWesome, thanks THOR!

but, I wasn't as interested in the evo injectors as i was the pump. i think the 9's fuel pump made significally more lph flow than the 8's, but i can't remember. does anyone have that information?

I was thinking maybe the EVO 9 fuel pump put out around 230lph

Re: I must be lame, Evo 8/9 fuel

If you can find out the flow rate of the pump at the stock voltage and at a rewired voltage, I can do the math for you and I'll add it to my write-up. I didn't have any information on the EVO 9 pump when I crunched all the numbers. The EVO 8 pump is in the list if you look towards the bottom of the post.

Re: I must be lame, Evo 8/9 fuel

yes, and thank you very much

but i purchased an evo 9 fuel pump.

Still wondering on how much they flow. they guy that sold me the pump said 235 and i was looking on tuners and some people didnt' believe it to be more than 200, but no one has ANY solid information. Regardless, i'll be able to run 13's with the pump so it should be plenty. now i just need injectors and i'll have the fuel covered.
