Re: Front end rattle
If it's a thumping bumping noise, could be the links. If it's a rattle, Id think something else. Brake calipers maybe? Try just a little brake pressure, see if it stops. If it does, you've found your problem.

Re: Front end rattle
Most likely the swaybar links. Turn the steering and once you can see the link, pull on it and you will be able to feel it move.

Re: Front end rattle
Sounds like a stableizer(sp)bar bushing. My 2 cents.

Re: Front end rattle
We have a 2002 Dodge Grand. Front end rattle and the tie rod ends needed to be replaced. Also had the link bushings replaced earlier for knocking in the front end when going over bumps. Front end is rattle free now.

Had the same issue with our 2003.

Re: Front end rattle
Had the same problem with my 97, turned out to be the links on both sides. The mounting holes had expanded and the links do not tighten properly against the Strut. They still do the job but rattle over ever bump. I replaced the stabilizer bushings first without loking at the links. Check the links and see if they are tight.
