Angry

I have the exact same problem on my imported D15b VTI. I was told that it may be the filter.

My oil level is clean and topped right up so I'm wondering if a filter change is the best way forward at this stage.

By the way, what is the model of your Civic as I am having difficulty identifying the UK equivalent automatic transmission gearbox - my engine is 1493cc V-tec.

By the way was yours not engaging on cold starts but started to engage better when warmed up?

Look foward to hearing from you when you are on line

it has plenty of fluid in the tranny. so thats not it
but the owner prior to me didnt keep the car up that well so i am just gonna get everything rebuilt.it sucks to because i am gonna get my auto switched to a manual in about 3 months . i have the money for it just that when i will have time for it being in the shop. but for now i gonna trade some stuff for a nother tranny if it is more than my filter.

also my car is a accord not a civic sorry

yeah change yoru filter first because why spend $300 on a new tranny when your just gonna get rid of it soon. why spend $300 when you may only need to spned $20

Thumbs up

Civikil, do you have an auto then? If not, do know anything about 91-95 Civic's having two diffrent type of auto tansmission? trying to communicate a Japanese import to a British Honda dealer is a nightmare as they do not have my EG8 import on their files.

I'm sure it is either an LSi or VEin equivalent but if I can't find out then I'll just have to take the old filter out and taking into the dealers.

Look fwd 2 hearing from you
