Red face I have decided...

Well, after much deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that my car must be sprayed a different color.

This will take place next spring of course. There is no way in hell I will be out in the shivering cold, wet sanding my car.

But this is going to be a full, all out color change. So everything will have to be stripped, motor pulled, etc.

Hmm, now to find the right color...

I say you paint it Gunmetal. I had to buy an 84 Buick Riviera (to get me around cuz i blew my motor over the summer)...and it was that color. Good thing I only paid $100 for that piece.......But hey, I sold it for $500-so it's all good

I know you wont like my opinion, but I suggest you get a little more original than orange. Arent theyre enough orange civics in this world? My 2 cents are that you spray it a dark grey, preferable Nimbus Grey (VW color) or some blueish color like the new S2000 blue, or the always great black. At least thats what I will do if I ever get my b16 and jdm front end...

Well, I have yet to see one orange civic in town here. I happen to like orange, I guesss since I already own one orange car, i'm kind of partial to it. But I dont know. I'm still looking, and looking for ideas.

I dont want a honda blue. I see plenty of honda blue cars here.

Have nay pics of this VW grey?

Try Imola orange pearl, it's a new color for the 2002 NSX. I just saw it at school up in Chicago. Man that color is SWEET.

there are 2 orange civics (1 4th and 1 5th gen) here and i'm in a small town . there is a lot of orange in the world suddenly. i really love the color of worshp's car. i also like mycivicsonair. travis_118 was creative and took a color off another make. i once thought of using the 95-ish accord light blue (kinda silver) and adding pearl to it.

That's the reason I painted my car yellow. I still have never seen another 4th gen civic that is yellow in person, and the only one I've seen on the web is 4G4DStore's. Go with what will make you happy, and will set you apart in the way you think looks best. I've since decided that I'm prolly gonna change it to that blue color the newer Civic Si's are, but thats cause my current paint job looks like ass so I'm gonna have to get it repainted anyways and it started out as blue.

Well, sworshps paint is a very expensive paint job. As much as I would like to say it, I dont think I have the skill to spray like that.

I am fretting doing my infiniti, which is a 3 stage process. The most I have ever done is a 2 stage.

So, thats why I am looking for something not to wild and crazy.

I will admit white does look clean, cause it hides flaws real easy. But once the white looses any of the clearcoat, white sucks ass. My car is white right now and I can't stand it. It has very little clearcoat on it and when I work on my car and get my hands greasy and touch any part of my car, the grease it part of the paint.
