Hi Raffaele,

You can't find any Touareg kit (except the maisto easykit 1/32nd scaleRace Touareg I think), but you'll be able to find the Race Touarreg from Minichamps or even the new realease of Norev, sainz in 2006 Dakar.

I've seen a 1/18 Touareg too if I remember well but don't know which brand.

Bye

Phil

PS: thanks for your last message and the link to your pics !

Re: Volkswagen Touareg

The Welly kit is a nice kit to work with. Despite it's a diecast, you can still change the rims, transform and repaint the inside...
I also bought one and changed the rims, I plan to detail the interior... one day maybe

ehehehe...not bad at all...

my dad's car is fully stock,he's got 17" rims...

the luxury pack is comprehensive of 18" rims but he told for the 17" cause he use also in offroad...and in offroad the 17" are very much better, cause the 18" are too large...also the 17 are enough large for the offroad (235-65-17),he's thinking to request a 205-70-16 homologation...

if i buy a model of the car,it would be completely stock...but from what i've understod,i will take a die cast and modify it to make equal to the real car...black leather, chrome pack, pearl black body...

and his stupid automatic gearbox...

sorry for my very bad english...

Re: Volkswagen Touareg

I would love for some model company to put out my 1:1 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Its a significant car from an amazing exotic car company.. not sure why that hasn't happened yet...

The Cayenne shares platform with the Touregg so I bet modelers could modify it.

Welly makes that in 1/24 scale too. I think there's a bit too much acrimony over the Cayenne in general to make it worthy of sales success as a plastic kit, but I could be wrong. I'd be livid if they did a Cayenne kit before a 997 Turbo or GT3 RS

@slk320...

i think it would be very, very difficult to turn a touareg into a cayenne...
the platform is exactly the same (and also the V8 petrol engine),same transmission (with 3 torsen C),same automatic gearbox...but exterior and interior are quite different...in a die-cast model i think there is no way to modify...
