Chance to buy a 69 Super Bee!!!

Ok, so maybe the only person who knows this car may be redneck... but anyway:

I have been talking to this older man who has owned a 1969 Super Bee since its first day off the dealer floor. He has kept it in pristine shape, and living in AZ, there is not a hint of rust on it. The engine needs some serious work as it hasnt been started for like 10 years, I already know all the seals are junk now. But.... He is offering to sell it at $5000! Oh man, I am looking for a quick way to scrounge up some cash and buy it before he changes his mind. I will take my camera next time I go see him and take some pics.. OMG it is so gorgeous!! It has the original 440+6 in it, and everything I could eat off of. It will need new tires as they are squared off on the bottom. But oh man, this is a very rare car lately, and how awesome it would be if I could buy it!!

Here is what it looks like:

veeeery nice! damn, I wish I had 5K to buy a sweet car like that. LOL, I'd try to sell it as soon as I bought it tho. hehe.

When I bought my civic I got it with 14K miles for $11K. It was a damn good deal and the lady selling it had it in her driveway trying to sell it for 4 months. When she took it to McDonalds for us to buy it, I had 3 people come up to me to ask if it was for sale. 5 minutes after I bought the car I tried selling it for 15K but the people didnt have cash. lmao.

Are you planning on reselling or keeping?

the pic you attatched isn't the car you're going to buy right? cuz if it is, you'd be stealing from an old man!!! Super Bee's are very nice cars... 5k is VERY VERY worth it... even with extensive engine work.

The picture is the exact same as the old man's car, the only difference is the color, his is the yellow not slime green. And yes, even with a engine from a go-ped it would still be worth well over 5K.

If the car is as cherry as you say it is, why are you hesitating? Pick that bad ass car up as soon as possible, before he has second and third thoughts. I'd buy it out from under you if I had the extra cash laying around...

I'll be the crazy guy in the back who jumps out at first sign of a bum going to get too close to your car, or someone throwing open their door I smash their skull!
