I just purchased a JDm ZC with an SI trans that has a locking diff in it, the guy said it was LSD it spins both tire every time you tack of hard.
When the clutch is not depressed it makes this grawl sound all the time when you push the clutch in it stops and sugestions as to what this could be. also when we pulled it out last night one of the inner axel would not come out of the tranny and when the other one came out it looks like one of the gears might have fallen down? did we do somthing wrong to make this happen? thanks chris

Hmm, the axles sit right in the differential if I understand right. So they may have put an aftermarket LSD kit in or swapped one from a true LSD tranny, and may have done it wrong. You can find some info on an LSD swap here:
