spring crisis
ok i got some tenzo lowering springs and had them put on my factory shocks. well i noticed when i was changing my break pads after i jacked up one side a side seemed to be higher like very noticably higher i measured and it was infact higher then the one side. so my question is this because i have my factory shocks?
also i got 2 and 1/4 drop springs well they didnt drop the car like i wanted. if i got new shocks for the springs i have would it drop it more? also to me sometimes my car ride higher then somedays. this is not in my head it is infact riding higher somedays mainly one side or the other but sometimes the back is higher and what not. strange. any input? alssssooo when i bought my springs i got them from a punk ass motor sport shop. they realy dont care who you are they want the cash.. i bought springs for a 99 but on the box it only had like 94 through 97 well it wasnt intended for my car.. could this be the problem with the drop and how its not what i thought it would be?

In some cases the springs should be the same length. but when installed on a car each corner might weigh different from either left to right. Measure from the wheel well to the ground to get somewhat a correct measurement.

Just a general FYI, the driver's side of your car will generally (in a Civic at least) sit a tad lower than the passenger side. I've noticed this with my car too, as have other people I know. I dunno if this is because most of the engine weight is on this side of the car or what, but like CivicSiRacer said, each corner of your car can have an impact on this. That's why adjustable coilovers are best, because they allow you to corner weight your car where each is balanced evenly.

it was level .. but SilverY2KCivic 99 and 00 are like exact. and you described it perfect.
fuckn crap now i gotta spring for some coil overs.
