Okay now after watching that record breaking lap run from the Edo Competition Porsche 911... I dont know if thats the same car as in the picture I had taken off of the Nurinburgring webcam

the second one looks like the edo car (996).

the one that you said looks like the edo porsche to me looked like a 350z because of the bigger black stripe over the headlights, if that wasn't there I would have known it was a Porsche
