Looking for new wheels and rims

Hello all: I'm looking at geting new rubber for my 1993 Transsport. Currently I only have the standard rims with the stock hubcaps. I have noticed on different makes (Lumina APV) and different years of Transsports some nice stock and not stock rims. I'm hoping to make my van look a little more sporty.

Can any 1990 - 1996 Transport or Lumina APV rims be interchangable? Also, has any one purchased non stock rims and if so what sizes am I looking at and does any 1 have any pics?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Looking for new wheels and rims

You could check out tirerack.com for info on the rims, and you could get info from a Hollander interchange manual on the interchangability of the rims from various models/years. Many salvage yards still use these, and you could try calling some of them and ask about the interchange, and if they may have some different rims.

I believe all those years will fit. I have a 1995 trans sport and used 15 inch steel rims off a Grand Prix or Bonneville to mount winter tires on, using stock tire size. I think just about all 15 inch 5 bolt rims, FWD, of the 105 or 100 MM bolt pattern diameter ( not sure what they are) will probably fit, just be careful of the offset

All year 1990-1996 (and also later year) have rims of size:

size: 15x6" bolt pattern: 5x114,3 mm offset (ET): 35 mm bore: 70.3 mm

I think first two year did have 14" for some models. As you said, most rims from FWD GM cars of this years does fit the Trans Sport.
