2006 Repsol Honda rc211v Nicky Hayden

This was just finished up last weekend. I took me about two full months to complete the whole model. This is my fifth motorcycle, and probably my favorite. It has some cf sms decals, but not many, im still trying to grasp that concept . I hope you enjoy!!! constructive criticism is welcome.

Thanks for the look,
Jordan

Great job on the bike, excellent detail. Can I give little advice on photography: I found shooting them outdoors in natural light gives much better results, especially for showing the shine of the paintwork, ideally a bright slightly overcast day, to much bright sun can cause probs. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=675527 this was my last project shot ooutside against white.
Cheers

Thanks guys, I will definently give the outdoor phototaking a try. The green and blue tubing i got from Dave at detail and design. Its made by crazy modeler. http://www.detailanddesigninscale.com/ Also, sorry about the title, it should read Nicky not hicky, it was late!

Nice work on a nice looking bike. Seems like you've mastered the Repsol livery. A+ on that. Exhaust looks a little over wheathered in my opinion. Perhaps go a little easier on that next time. Hard to see if you have done it by hand or not. Try using the air brush or the Tamiya wheathering set. Regarding photos outside light makes better photos but try also to step away from the model and perhaps use a tripod. With todays cameras you get large images that can be cropped in a photo editor and show a lot more detail.

Hope to see more work in the future!
