Whoops...

Well...
Overheating occured. We think it never really grabbed 100% thanks to the stock flywheel being taken down too far. Parts were fighting to hold.

Pressure plate...

Check out the cracks...

Disc...

Old stock flywheel...

New SPEC flywheel...

And how my car sits until Friday after work...

SPEC 4 goes in Friday night.

Re: Whoops...

Shit, it seems like everyone I know is having some sort of car trouble during the nice weather. My car is torn apart, one friend doesn't have a front bumper, another spun a rod bearing, and another got towed with the shifter in 1st gear! The kevlar was torn to SHIT! It was bad. And now, Luos has worn out tranny parts. I hate this damn nice weather with no nice car to drive during it.

Grind the flywheel??
You lost me.
I had it machined, just like what you do to brake rotors. Get a new surface.
This works fine normally, but the machine shop took too much off.

And no stock clutch will ever come with a non-spring disc.

Re: Whoops...

I'll have the #1 please (fried clutch).

You'll have to put up some more vids. of your car again. I LOVE A BLACK T/A, ESPECIALLY WITH THOSE WHEELS!!!

Too bad it's GM instead of Ford (Mustang)!!!!!
When I start looking and if I can't find the right stang, I would take a T/A but only in black!!!

Re: Whoops...

It is obvious you are in denial about liking GM.

Re: Whoops...

Same exact thing happened to me due to a bad flywheel resurface, makes you want your money back + some for labor time doesn't it?

Re: Whoops...

Oh man you just got to love when these things happen with no planning ,yet I don't think anyone plans for it. Look at the bright side you get to reduce the amount of tickets for the week.
