pi day
so march 14th (3.14) is pi day, as in the ratio of the circumferance of a circle to the diameter. apparently my school has some kind of stuff going on, i'm probably just going to use it as an excuse to get drunk, not that i need one, i'm an engineer lol. so is anyone doing anything for this day?

no it's not a holiday but there are some events put on by the math society and random other things.

I am getting my office ALL decked out!!! I bought a Pi by the numbers babydoll tee from thinkgeek, and I am getting inked after work.
 Yes, I am getting a tattoo of the pi symbol on my back. I can't WAIT!

why the pi symbol? you're a truly dedicated maths teacher, you know that?
i've been thinking about a tattoo, the symbol on my necklace/chain. won't have anything done for a few years. my dad says if i have one done i'll be disowned and won't get any of the inheritance.

i know where i want it, inside right forearm. i want the tattoo to have like a ~2" diameter.
there isn't much way i could hide that from him. besides, there might be a point in time where i talk to him about it, explain i'm and adult (i'll be 18 in a couple weeks) and that it's my body. Nicole will probably tell y'all i'm a huge hypocrite if she reads this.

haha, i know it won't make any difference then.
