More electrical Problems- Wire Melting
I just finished hooking up my cd player. I turned it on and it worked fine, so I decide to take the car around the block. I start the car, turn on the headlights, and the Red wire with a Black strip starts to melt and smoke up my car.
After this I imediatly turn off the car. I took off the headlight switch and part of if is melted.
I dont get it, What could be wrong??
My car is a 1988 5spd. Jetta with 186,000kms on it
