decal problems

I put the decals on my cart fedex car and i seem to have trouble on one part,on the front spoiler,a decal covers a part that is popped out,it's like a panal line but on the front spoiler, the decal needs to "hug" around that litle line but it doesnt, instead it just goes over it and the decal stayes mostly striaght,I need the decal to sort-of melt and go around the thick line, how can i do this?my friend suggested using a hair dryer but im a little worried it might not work, tthis the best model ive done so far and i dont want it to mess up just cuz of a stinkin decal, any help would be greatly apprieciated

Try this, get a tissue or cloth and wet it with the hottest water that comes from the tap then damp out the excess water and press the hot cloth over the decal it will conform instantly, quicker and better than any solvent and safer than using a hairdrier.
