Decals Problem
Hi,
I have put some decals on my Ferrari model but because in some of them the water was already cold some of them are detaching from the car How can I solve this problem? I already tried hot water but it did not work regards Pedro |

there are decal setting solutions like Microsol, or Revell Decal Kit that are made for using with decals that dont stick. or you could spray some clear coat over them but be careful cus some clear coats eat decals.

its probably not because of the cold water that the drecals have detached, i use cold water all the time as where i build my models is nowhere near a hot water tap. Theyre probably coming off as you have left them in the water too long and all the glue has dissolved. To get them to stick back on, get a tiny bit of PVA (white) glue on the end of a cocktail stick and dab it behind the decal tha is coming off. Smooth it down with a damp tissue or cotton bud and your sorted. You cant see the glue when it dries, just make sure you wipe any excess off the surrounding paint.

Agree with egon, I'm in the same boat here, only cold water but no trouble with decals.
